		<description>Yeah, I agree entirely. I remember looking to see if I could find a book on basic web design for my brother. The trouble is, the kind of &quot;first timer&#039;s&quot; books tend to be a bit older and often utterly non standard.

Book&#039;s like Zeldman&#039;s and Dan Cederholm&#039;s are great, but I&#039;m not really convinced that they&#039;d do very much for anyone that didn&#039;t already know how to build some kind of web site. HTML Dog is a good resource for learning, maybe Patrick Griffiths should do a book, if he&#039;s not already.</description>
