Poor Henry was glad too because without Martin Luther (the heretic) he would have had a hard time convincing the English that they/he was in dire need to remarry as he would not have been able to tell the population that they needed a different religion so HE could ditch the First Lady.

I can’t believe the British people have forgotten all of the pain and suffering Charles and Camilla’s continued affair caused the Royal family and the country. How can you forget how awful the situation was. Diana was a frail young women that was driven over the edge by Camilla’s never ending presence in her marriage. Shame on Britain for allowing Charles to marry the filthy women who destroyed his marriage, family and respect of his subjects!! I agree Charles should be able to marry again, but mot the women who caused such heartache in Britain.

I am glad Charles is marrying Camilla, and I'm not ashamed of that opinion. They should have been married from the off, and wishing Camilla ill is hardly going to bring Diana back. In comparison to the amount of taxpayers' money that The Royal Family get, ?300,000 isn't that much (about 2% I think - and I suspect the Queen spends more on her corgis) and if you look through any HM Treasury Reports you'll find that most figures are counted in multi-millions or billions. According to The 2001 census there are 25million employed people in this country. 300000 isn't that big a number when we're talking nationally. Tony Blair is a creep, but I don't see how it's his descision whether or not Charles can be King. I think it's far more important what The Queen, the Archbishop of Canterbury and Princes Philip, William and Harry have to say - and I don't think any of them could ever be accused of toadying. At this point I feel it is also worth noting that it isn't the 1930s anymore.

You are a fool to say you are glad that Charles is marrying Camilla. Apart from the fact that she is a divorcee, she just wouldn’t go away when Charles married Diana, she should have left them alone to work out their marriage, she kept her claws in and wouldn’t let go. Now she has Diana’s house, her sons and one day she will be Queen of England. Also Charles is paying her ?300,000 per year from taxpayers money, that’s the official amount, I expect it will be much more than that in reality. Charles thinks he can pull the wool over the country’s face, but we are not stupid. Also Tony Blair is a creep and should tell Charles that okay to marry but then leave the country like his uncle did, then all will be fair, and we won’t have to see that horrible woman again.
