The Oscar Nominations are out.
Unsuprisingly Lord of the Rings is up for a whole load - Including Best Picture, Best Visual Effects, and Best Make-up….although it does have to compete with Johnny Depp’s eyeliner on the last one!

I would like to comment that what Peter Jackson has done with the LOTR trilogy represents something as unique and valuable as any piece of artwork of certain famous artists, and he should be recognised as such an artist.
